God is love.
God is patient.
God's patience is inspirational. He plots. He waits. He prepares. He waits. He executes His plans.
He is not frantic. He is not hurried. He is untroubled in all His doings and in all of His affairs. His patience is one of the marks of His total control of the universe. He can afford to be patient because He is in utter command of all things.
And so, our patience in waiting for God to move is our acknowledgment that He is in total control of the universe and in utter command of all things.
The best way to get patience is to observe His patience. He is more willing to answer our prayers than we are. His patience is therefore greater than ours.
Patience is a sure test of the greatest saints.
