My act of husbanding is to tell you that the only requirement in our family is for you to walk with God and listen to Him. Don't aim for balance. Perfection for a woman is the worst kind of perfection. It's serial perfection. Perfection at home. Perfection at work. Perfection as a mother. Perfection as a wife. Perfection as a dresser. Perfection as an athlete. Perfection as a hostess. Perfection as a friend. Avoiding imperfection is not balance. Avoiding imperfection is imperfection.
Balance is being owned only by God. Your job doesn't own you. Your children don't own you. Your husband doesn't own you. You don't even own yourself. You are singularly God's.
Don't aim for imbalance dressed up as serial perfection.
Balance yourself only on God. Obey only Him. He manages all your departments.
Yield only to Him. If you do you will achieve something not many women do: Perfect balance.
