When you fear you are putting faith in fear. When you allow fear you have reconciled with it. Whether you care to admit it or not, permitting fear is an act of faith, a matter of belief. You can choose to address your problem in any way you wish. If you wish to solve the problem through releasing the spirit of fear, then you have placed your faith in fear.
The Scripture is quite clear that the opposite of a spirit of fear is a spirit of power, love and a sound mind.
In other words, through the power of the inverse, releasing a spirit of fear will result in weakness, the absence of reliance on God's love and (worst of all) a disturbed mind.
If you sow to the winds of fear you will reap a whirlwind.
If you sow the seeds of faith in God's power and love you will reap a sound mind.
Fear is to be more feared than the fear itself.
