The power of hope is its presence

Dashed hopes. Broken dreams. Failed expectations. Crumbled vision. These are men's real horrors. 

So much of life is lived in the future, when all we ever have available to us is the present. We will never reach tomorrow. Tomorrow is perpetually inaccessible. Yet we sketch our lives in the future.
