21. When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father—Do you daily lock yourself away in a room, exit earth for a period of time, and then appear before God in heaven? Do you close the door behind you and then open the door into heaven to bring your prayers before God?
22. Our Father in heaven—Corporate prayer is the lifeblood of any church. We are as good as our prayer meeting. Praying together is a statement of entire trust in God. Not praying together is a statement that we do not trust God and have no need of His power.
23. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven—God's will in heaven is total and absolute! He is Lord of all, or not Lord at all. The areas that are reserved from the total Lordship of Jesus are those areas that are not yet in His Kingdom.
24. When you fast—Kingdom living is sacrificial. From time to time, God will call us to give up food for a period of time. We forsake something that we enjoy and rely on, to show that our true reliance and enjoyment is God Himself.
25. Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven—Two lifelong errors Christians fall into is
(1) they compare themselves to other Christians, and
(2) they make their decisions based on the fact that the sum total of life is life on this earth, when in truth, life in Eternity is infinitely longer than life on earth. When we live for treasure in heaven as opposed to treasure on earth, we overcome both of these errors.

26. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also—You may regard yourself as a member of Urban Design Church, but if your dollar treasure is not invested into this community then your heart is not in the community either.
27. You cannot serve both God and money—A lot of Christians fear money and ask God to serve their mission on earth; true Jesus followers fear God and make their money serve God's mission on earth.
28. Do not worry about your life—If there was a see-saw which had your concerns on one end, and the things that concern God on the other end, which end would be resting on the grass in the park and which end would be hovering in the sky? Maturity in the faith is the process of being more concerned with God's concerns than your own life's concerns.
29. Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life—The outrageous promise of being a Jesus follower is that the worst case-scenario is that God will look after you. The worst possible outcome is that God will look after you. Worry and anxiety mutually exclude faith and trust in God. Where there is worry there is no faith in God.
30. Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness—Is the rule and reign of Jesus the most important thing to you? His Kingdom must come first. How passionate are you to seeing lost people being saved? The Kingdom of Jesus being extended should be the first and only item on any church's agenda.
