Matthew's gospel ends with the immortal words 'All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples.'
The very next chapter of the Bible (Mark 1) are two accounts of Jesus calling four disciples: 'Come, follow me ... Without delay he called them'.
Jesus called His disciples with some authority. So shall I continue to call His disiciples for Him.
