Convictions about church

I have a very clear idea of the shape of the church. I am convicted as follows, and I want the church to be:

a)      A church that Jesus builds, because every single member has been added by Jesus' supernatural power and not by man-made constructs. This is a church where He takes all the glory because only He has built it.

b)      A church that is based on the mission to see the salvation of Jesus come to the earth.

c)       A church that is full of humble people who desperately and deeply desire His glorification and His Kingdom and His Lordship.

d)      A church that has people who are free and who follow Jesus and walk with him and are not church meeting-observant as their form of religion, but a people who actually know Jesus personally and are able to conduct a personal relationship with him.

e)      A church that enjoys the Holy Spirit and craves prophecy and delights in the voice of the Holy Spirit and the doings of the Holy Spirit in communal times.

f)       A church of free and extravagant worship.

g)      A church where the leaders know when it is time to hand over and step aside for the sake of the greater good.

h)      A church that knows how to pray with depth of passion and a church that experiences agonizing in prayer.

i)        A church with an insatiability for knowing the God-of-the-Bible in the Bible.

j)        A church with a high cognisance of the doctrine of reward, and who believe that Jesus has the right to call them to the life-path He has destined for them.

k)      A church where fun and love are inter-changeable experiences of community life.

These are my convictions.
