The bow of God

I have learnt that God wishes to use us as arrows for His purposes. He has a target in mind for all of us to hit. Who allows themselves to be an arrow for the Archer?

The arrow must have a heightend point to it. The arrow must be straight-shafted with no duplicity to it. The arrow must be patient.

The Archer loads the arrow on His bow. And then He slowly draws it back. And then He draws it back some more. The Archer always takes His time. The arrow is pulled back against its will. The arrow must not complain when the direction it is pulled in seems counter-intuitive. The arrow must not grumble at being withdrawn. The arrow must not think it is retreating when it is drawn backwards. The arrow must trust the Archer. When it is time, it shall fly.

Every successful arrow must undergo the muscular draw-back of the Archer. A self-propelled arrow is hardly an attractive reflection of the Archer's Kingdom.
