Hope

"If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for the passionate sense of the potential, for the eye which, ever young and ardent, sees the possible. Pleasure disappoints, possibility never. And what wine is so sparkling, what so fragrant, what so intoxicating, as possibility!"
Søren Kierkegaard, Either/Or: A Fragment of Life

Hope does not disappoint us. The location of hope is one of life's greatest skills. There is no greater hope than God's execution of His plan in your life.

I know that it is said that these three remain: Faith, hope and love. However, I see this triumvirate of Christian virtues, like the Triune Godhead, as a composite. For it is faith in God's love that produces hope in our hearts.
