If ever there was someone with cause to be a racial supremacist, it was him. He was born of a pure race. His bloodline was exempt of contamination from other ethnic groups. He was racially superior. He came from the highest caste.
Yet he associated with a lesser race. He eschewed his own people group for a time and was assimilated into another society, taking on its every cultural form. So successful was he at being subsumed into the new culture that they never suspected he came from elsewhere, even when he told them that he did.
Christianity is founded on a Man who stepped out of the heavenly race for a season, and became a member of the earthly race. This Man inherited every likeness of the human race. He came to serve his adopted race, even if it meant surrendering his life for it.
Racism is prejudice against a certain race. Christianity is therefore racism in reverse - the love for another race.
Apostolic Christianity is incarnation into another culture. It is gracious; and it is the inverse of racism.
