Just a prayer meeting?

Directions: From the Circle / Yellow Line: Marymount stop; walk up Bishan street 21 about 400m, condo is on the left. From North-South / Red Line: Get off at Bishan stop; walk south on Bishan Road to traffic lights; take right into Bishan Street 21 walk about 600m; condo is on the right.

Challenge: How important is it to God that the saints of a church pray together? How important is it to you that the saints of a church pray together? The distance between those two points is disobedience.

Big picture: On a monthly cycle, by and large, I believe it is reasonable to expect a Singaporean to attend 7 organized meetings. This is 4 Sunday meetings; 2 organized fellowship-in-the-homes opportunities; 1 prayer meeting.
Tips:
*Commit yourself at the beginning of the month to the gatherings of the church; not on the 'morning of'.
*If child-minding is an issue, take it in turns with your spouse. It is good for our children to see us committed to God's church.
*There is always grace not to attend a gathering of the church—don't labour under legalism. How committed you are to what God is doing is revealed over 6 months; not whether you made an isolated meeting or not.
*Beware of causing your brother to stumble.
