There exists this phenomenon whereby Christians attend church but are simultaneously members of another de facto church. This is very confusing. It is confusing for the person. And it confusing for onlookers. And it is confusing for the leaders of both churches.
How much fruit can there be in divided loyalty?
Of course, I doubt whether you can split your loyalty. When push comes to shove, one will win above the other. Sacrifice is the true test of loyalty, and you will prefer the one above the other. Or, you will neither sacrifice for either, content to play the one off against the other.
Either way, God sees through it all.
