Comforted by the words to Joseph, God intends difficult things for good. There is a grand design. We do well not to judge the outcome of the game at half time. A higher purpose smacks of God. Logically, faith has to be tested. God allows the corridor of fire because it is the surest test of faith. Faith proved in the passage of fire is genuine faith.
