The greater the personal cost the more valuable the sacrifice.
A taxi across the city. A dedication of time. A giving of money. A sharing of a meal. A time of prayer. A little less sleep. A demonstration of praise.
The church is built sacrifice by sacrifice by sacrifice.
Sacrifices are the bricks in the wall, the building blocks of the house.
Blessed the community that is set on offering up sacrifices to the King. We can appear before His altar and offer unto Him everyday sacrifices.
But each sacrifice will take some blood. It'll have to hurt a little. It's going to cost to sacrifice. The altar will bear some signs and smears of blood. Hopefully many stains.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
