Tom Tapping has a large presence. He fills the air with optimism. His presence produces faith. His positivity is catchy. He is always on the upswing. His encouragement a contagion.
In other words, he is filled with apostolic grace. Apostolic grace is the ability to impart to us some spiritual gift. He has it in spades.
He is a gift. All that he is--the collection of past experiences and lessons and victories and corrections--is the gift. The life he has lived following the King of kings, is the gift. He has been around the mountain a few times, not on the contour path, but on the path of ascent. He has seen church from most views.
He is humble to a fault. He is a master conversationalist. He is charming, disarming and affable. He is impossible not to like. In the strictly sanctified sense, he is shrewd. And he possesses the uncanny ability to make yourself like yourself way more after you have spent time with him.
He craves company, whether it is frank or light-hearted. He gives total credence and demonstration to the belief that God is utterly personable.
