Anna has a quick mind. She activates a higher gear of speed when she narrows her eyes. It shows that she is really thinking when she does that. When she narrows her eyes it puts her foot on the clutch and she whips the shift-stick into sixth.
She is strong and driven. She has a love for the synoptic view; you can see better from the ceiling when you are trying to put the world beneath you into order. Everything has its place. The world runs along lines of order and symmetry. And where it doesn't, Anna will remedy the defect. Surprizes are not surprizes, they are threats to the proper order of things. Never surprize Anna lightly. Straight lines are your friend. Not only are the shortest route to where you are going but they separate black from white, which is important information in a world that has its constituent bits determined by Euclidean geometry. These are all formidible devices in a five-year old package. In the wrong hands they will devastate. In the right hands they will contribute justice, stability and righteousness. Anna is blessed with an intuitive appreciation for right and wrong. The world needs more Annas.
I love Anna.
She has a tender streak that is encased by strength. She has a natural loyalty in her, uncommon for one as young as her. She has already decided, without telling me, that her fidelity belongs to God and to what is innately right. She is aware of greater forces in the universe that are to be obyed with sincere adherence. She will bear the banner of goodness when she grows up. God has given her the flag of divine justice to wave in the world. She will herald it and die for it. There are depths to Anna that I marvel at. She is quick to understand and then she stores that latest acquisition of understanding in her private vault, amassing great riches of knowledge and truth. At night she lies awake, sifting throught the treasures she has gleaned through the day, polishing each one, practising her memory of them, embedding it into her personal, inner world. It will not surprize me if Anna grows up to own reservoirs of the knowledge of God. Indeed, I pray for it
She loves words, she loves writing, she loves reading. She hates too much activity and failed plans.
